The University of Priština in Kosovska Mitrovica successfully organized the Erasmus+ short-term student mobility programme ESP for Health Professionals, held from 29 June to 3 July 2026, followed by a virtual mobility session on 7 July 2026.
The programme brought together 12 students from Sivas Cumhuriyet University, Türkiye, who participated in an intensive educational programme focused on developing professional communication skills in English within the healthcare context.
Throughout the five-day physical mobility, participants attended lectures, workshops, and interactive sessions designed to enhance their medical English proficiency while strengthening intercultural communication and teamwork skills. The programme combined academic instruction with practical activities, providing students with valuable opportunities to improve both their language competence and professional confidence.
In addition to the academic component, the participants had the opportunity to explore the cultural and historical heritage of the region through organized visits and social activities, fostering intercultural dialogue and strengthening international cooperation.
The mobility programme concluded with a certificate award ceremony, during which participants reflected on their experiences and the knowledge gained throughout the programme. The successful implementation of this activity further reinforced the longstanding cooperation between the University of Priština in Kosovska Mitrovica and Sivas Cumhuriyet University within the Erasmus+ framework, while contributing to the internationalization of higher education and the promotion of academic excellence.
