The Erasmus+ Info Day was held on 17 December 2025 at the Faculty of Law of the University of Priština in Kosovska Mitrovica.
The event aimed to promote European Union programmes in the fields of education, training, youth and sport, and to inform members of the academic community about new calls for project proposals within the Erasmus+ Programme for 2026.
The Info Day was attended by Prof. Dr. Vladimir Boranijašević, Vice-Rector of the University of Priština, Mr Goran Lazić, Project Officer at the Erasmus+ Office in Kosovska Mitrovica, representatives of the University’s International Relations Office, faculty Erasmus+ coordinators, project coordinators, as well as teaching staff and students from the University of Priština faculties.
The event was officially opened by Vice-Rector Prof. Dr. Vladimir Boranijašević, who highlighted the importance of the Erasmus+ Programme for the development and reform of the University, as well as for strengthening international cooperation.
Goran Lazić provided detailed information on the new Erasmus+ call for proposals for 2026, while Valentina Draškić, International Relations Officer, presented international credit mobility projects.
During the Info Day, a partner project approved under the latest call was also presented – Empowering Career Readiness and Industry Collaboration for Higher Education in the Western Balkans (K2W).
The event also served as an opportunity to present the results and ongoing activities of two CBHE projects currently being implemented at the University: Research Universities for the Western Balkans (Res–Uni) and Sustainable Transportation within the Framework of the Green Deal (SPHERE).
The Erasmus+ Info Day contributed to raising awareness among teaching staff and students about the opportunities offered by the Erasmus+ Programme and encouraged their greater involvement in international projects and mobility programmes, confirming once again the importance of Erasmus+ as a key instrument for university development and the internationalisation of higher education.
